Service & Installation

Fees for service calls, site visits and installations

We strive to keep our rates fair and competitive. While each situation can be different, we use some standard rates for service calls within our main service area (45 miles of 12845). We do offer services beyond our main service area for an additional travel fee. Please call for details. We will also offer a discount for multiple appliances serviced in the same visit.

• Diagnostic Visit: $100 - For a short service call to determine the nature of the issue and identify parts that may be needed for the repair.  This applies when we can't get enough information over the phone and need to diagnose the issue in person.

• Routine Maintenance: $200 - For the routine maintenance on gas appliances that is recommended by the manufacture for safety and longevity. Most gas fireplace manufacturers recommend an annual routine maintenance by a qualified service tech to clean, test and inspect the appliance. This is a comprehensive service we provide that includes inspecting the venting, gas and electrical components; cleaning the burner, firebox, log set and glass; testing voltages and gas pressures; replacing remote and receiver batteries. 

• Simple Repair: $200 (plus Parts) - For the replacement of typical parts such as the pilot assembly, gas valve or glass for example. We try to diagnose operational issues over the phone so we can have potential parts needed with us and complete the repair in one visit.

We understand purchasing a new gas or wood stove or fireplace is a major purchase and home investment. The installation labor and venting components are a significant portion of the project budget and should be considered before the base appliance is ordered. Our goal is to provide a complete and accurate quote for the entire job start to finish and to deliver on that quote without surprises.

• Site Visit for Installation Quotes: FREE - We sell and install new gas and wood appliances. This always requires an in person site visit to determine which appliance is best and prepare an accurate quote for the installation. We do not charge for this time for customers within our main service area.

• Installation: Varies  - Each installation job is unique and the time and materials necessary can vary. Typical stove or fireplace installations that do not require demolition and construction can range between $1,500 - $2,500. We also construct fireplace cabinets, chases, mantles and do stone veneer work for more advanced projects. Gas log set installations can vary from $350 - $850 depending on the gas supply line.
